Companies in Salamanca, Béjar and Ciudad Rodrigo: the corporate account for visitors arriving at the station, industrial-estate staff and business trips, with one invoice a month

The corporate account is a way of paying and invoicing, with no fee, no minimum and no lock-in: authorised people book by phone, email, WhatsApp or API, every trip has its price fixed in advance, the traveller neither pays nor keeps receipts, and at month end one invoice arrives with VAT itemised and one line per job with date, route, passenger and cost centre. In Salamanca it solves three things: the visitor who arrives by train at the station and has to continue to an industrial estate on the outskirts, to Guijuelo or to Ciudad Rodrigo; the manager who flies from Barajas in the small hours because no train arrives in time; and the staff changeover where the bus does not go. Guijuelo to Salamanca station is 51 km; Salamanca to Barajas, 230 km and about 166 min.

How does a visitor reach a company in Salamanca, and what does the transfer cost?

Almost always by train from Madrid-Chamartín to Salamanca station, near the centre, or by air through Barajas, because Matacán has hardly any scheduled flights. The problem begins on leaving the train: the meeting is not in the old town but on an industrial estate in Villares de la Reina or Carbajosa de la Sagrada, at a meat company in Guijuelo, in Béjar or in Ciudad Rodrigo, and from the station there is no public transport that arrives on time. The job is booked with the train number and the company as destination, the app follows delays and the driver waits at the station with the visitor's name; anyone arriving by air is met in arrivals at Barajas with a sign and continues along the AP-6, the AP-51 and the A-50 to the province.

The figures are the engine's, the same as for an individual, and the price agreed at booking is the one on the invoice, with no surge or time-of-day surcharge: Guijuelo to Salamanca station, 51 km from 75,61 €; Ciudad Rodrigo to Salamanca station, 94 km; Béjar to the station, 74 km; Carbajosa de la Sagrada to Barajas, 229 km. Villares de la Reina and Santa Marta have their own route page to the station. Peñaranda de Bracamonte, on the A-50, is one of the few towns in the province closer to Madrid than the capital, and its visitors can come and go without passing through Salamanca.

What do companies in the province ask for besides receiving visitors?

Staff, changeovers and business trips. The industrial estates on the outskirts change shifts at hours when the city bus does not run, Guijuelo's ham industry receives buyers and auditors who arrive at the station or at Barajas, Ciudad Rodrigo is the last town before the Portuguese border and moves suppliers in both directions, and Béjar is far from everything. A changeover is booked as one service with several stops: the company gives the clock-in time and the addresses, the platform works out the run with staggered pickups and one price for the whole thing, and with the fixed service it is agreed once, days, time and price, and the bookings are created automatically in advance, with the same driver whenever possible.

Business trips head for Madrid: the manager to Chamartín for the train, to Barajas to fly in the small hours, or to IFEMA in a trade-fair week, with the return booked to the flight and arrival tracking. Salamanca to IFEMA is 221 km and about 160 min; from Peñaranda, on the A-50, the trip to Chamartín is shorter than from the capital. In September, with the start of the university year and the Ferias y Fiestas, and at Easter, the hotels fill up and the old town has road closures: transfers from the station are booked in advance, the pickup point is whatever the town hall's traffic plan allows and the price does not rise because it is a festival.

How is the account opened, and who may book?

The account is opened from the companies page with the tax details and, back in the panel, marked as a corporate account under Billing; there is no lock-in and no fee. The usual setup in a company in Guijuelo or on the outskirts is to authorise two or three people, reception, management and whoever organises the visits, and have the rest go through them, although it can be opened to the whole team with a cap per job. Each booking is confirmed in writing with the route, time, passenger and price, and is tied to the cost centre named by whoever books; if the company would rather have its own system do it, there is an API with a key to quote, book and check the status of the job.

The account, the price, the confirmation and the invoice are always the platform's, with the same contact person. The transfer is performed by the soonest available VTC, the platform's own or that of a partner fleet checked before being given a single job, under its valid VTC authorisation or taxi licence and with a trip sheet issued before starting; the company is told who is driving before the pickup, not afterwards, in case compliance asks. For recurring trips the same driver is assigned, who already knows the address, the time and which gate to leave the estate by, and the pickup time is adjusted at no cost if the company gives notice.

What does the monthly invoice include, and what if the train or the meeting runs late?

One grouped invoice a month, with VAT itemised at the passenger-transport rate and one line per job with date, route, passenger, cost centre and amount, reconciling with the written confirmations of each booking and ready to post. Nobody in the company advances money or files an expense claim: the jobs are charged to the account. If you work by cost centre, the Guijuelo plant, the Salamanca office and the Ciudad Rodrigo warehouse come itemised; with high volume a rate can be negotiated in writing, and that is the one that applies.

If the visitor's train is late, the job carries the number and the app follows it: the pickup moves by itself and the published courtesy wait runs from the actual arrival; at Barajas the flight is checked by its number. If a meeting runs long, the driver is told by message and a wait or a new time is agreed; extended waiting is invoiced at the published rate and announced before it starts counting, never afterwards. Cancellation, included waiting and airport tolls are the conditions the system itself writes on the companies page with the values it applies when charging, and they change there the same day as in the contract.

What other kinds of companies in the province use the account?

The hotels of Salamanca's old town, to take guests to the station or to Barajas with the charge on the room; the language schools and the university, with students from abroad who arrive and leave through Barajas in September and June; clinics and insurers, for unaccompanied transfers to appointments at the University Hospital Complex with the invoice to the insurer, for instance from Santa Marta de Tormes, 5 km away; schools and camps, for outings with several cars to La Alberca or the Sierra de Béjar; and wedding and event organisers at the estates of the Campo de Salamanca.

Each sector has its own page with what changes in its case, hotels and accommodation, clinics and hospitals, weddings and events, industrial estates; the account is the same for all. A hotel or an agency that would rather resell the transfer, setting its own price on the net fare or collecting a commission, has the partner rate and the partners portal, which is a different conversation from the corporate account. What never changes is that the price is fixed before booking, the driver waits with a sign at the station or in arrivals and the invoice is issued automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Does the corporate account have a fee, a minimum or a lock-in?

No. It is a way of paying and invoicing: no fee, no minimum and no lock-in contract. With high volume a rate can be negotiated in writing.

How does a visitor get from Salamanca station to Guijuelo or Ciudad Rodrigo?

With a pickup booked with the train number and the company as destination: the driver waits at the station with their name. To Guijuelo it is 51 km; to Ciudad Rodrigo, along the A-62, somewhat more.

What if the manager's flight lands at Barajas late?

The job carries the flight number and the arrival is checked: the pickup moves by itself and the published courtesy wait starts counting at the actual arrival, without anyone in the company having to call.

Can a changeover run for an estate on the outskirts be left fixed?

Yes: with the fixed service the days, time and price are agreed once, the bookings are created automatically in advance and the same driver does the run whenever possible; it is cancelled at no cost when it is no longer needed.

The account's conditions (authorised people, caps, cost centres) are set when it is opened and can be adjusted later. Kilometre, minute and price figures are those of the route engine when the page is opened; the VAT rate is the one published by the tax agency on the date consulted.
